Joseph Dwight "Joe" Sparks

Joseph 'Joe' Dwight Sparks, 45, passed away Thursday October 2, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington KY, surrounded by loved ones. Joe was born February 26, 1980, at UK Hospital, he was the son of the late Regena Wiley and Delbert Collins.
Joe was a hard worker, who thrived on making people happy and loved gatherings. In his working days, he enjoyed home improvement, and hustling.
Joe gave his life to the Lord, and is joined in Heaven with his parents Regena Wiley, Delbert Collins, step-father David Wiley, and step-mother Missy Collins; grandparents, Robert & Faye Foley, James Sparks, and Junior & Malviaree Collins; his aunt Lynn Morton, uncles Albert Collins, Boyd (Kathy) Collins, Robert Collins, Jimmy (Becky) Collins, and Donnie Sparks; his brothers Jason Abney, Timothy Neil as well as his cousin Tommy D. Sparks.
He is survived by his children Summer and Blake Sparks, his furbaby D.O.G. and granddaughter Maxine Sparks; his sisters Trista Goodrich and Shanda Collins, his brothers Josh (Jessica) Collins and Stanley Stander; his aunts Teresa (Elwood) Smith, Amanda May & Denise Brandenburg, his uncles Carl (Tiffany) Collins, David Hood, Timmy Sparks, and Tommy (Gloria) Sparks; His nieces and nephews Alexis Collins, Logan, Coleson, Chandler & Aleeah Goodrich, Kaydence, Swayze, Alex, Clayton and Conner Collins and great niece and nephew Kinsley and Kason who he loved very much, and many cousins.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Tucker, Yocum, & Wilson Funeral home to help with final expenses.
Services will be Tuesday, October 14, 2025 beginning with a visitation at 5:00pm and funeral to follow at 7:00pm. Friends and family are encouraged to leave messages of condolence and share memories on Joe's tribute wall at www.TuckerYocumWilson.com
