Boyd Roger Harbage, age 69, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on January 23rd, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Boyd was born January 12th, 1956, to the late Warren D. and Mary (Gordon) Harbage. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Beverly (Harbage) Ward and Brenda Harbage. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Judy (Kurtz) Harbage, daughter Stacy Lawson (Steve) Bernas, son Paul (Megan) Harbage. Grandchildren: Paige Bernas, Evie and Brooks Harbage, and sister, Becky Reid.
Boyd was a skilled carpenter for more than 50 years. He was an avid hunter. Boyd enjoyed watching and playing sports. He loved being the offensive line assistant coach for the Jonathan Alder Football Team. He also enjoyed traveling domestically and abroad.
Throughout the years he taught Sunday school and was actively involved with The Gideons International since 1988. He thoroughly enjoyed going on mission trips to Canada and Haiti.
A visitation will take place Friday, January 31st, 2025 from 3pm to 7 pm at Ferguson Funeral Home 202 East Main Street Plain City, Ohio 43064, funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2025 at 10 AM, also at the funeral home with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating. Inurnment to follow at Forest Grove Cemetery Plain City, Ohio.
