Brad Hammonds Obituary
He was born on March 15, 1965 in Herrin to Ronnie and Judy (DeArmond) Hammonds. While growing up in Freeman Spur and attending school in Herrin, he made many fond memories and lifelong friends. As a young adult, he enjoyed participating in a softball league.
Bradpreviously worked at General Dynamics in Marion for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias lodge #236 in Marion, and was a Chancellor Commander in 2001. An avid conservative, Brad enjoyed fishing, watching Cardinals games, and, most of all, spending time with his friends and family.
Brad is survived by his wife, Marcy Hammonds of Marion; daughters, Shaynee Hammonds of Marion and Rylee Hammonds of Marion; son, Quentin Hammonds of Marion; mother, Judy Hammonds of Johnston City; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff & Donna Hammonds of Macedonia; sister, Heather Bonds of Johnston City; numerous nieces and nephews; and his puppy, Spud.
He is preceded in death by his father and his beloved canine companion, Roxy.
Brad's wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
