Bradley "Brad" John Dahl, 50, formerly of Livermore and Algona, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025 at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center in Mason City.

Brad was born June 24, 1975 in Humboldt, the son of Christy Dahl and William Briggs. Brad graduated from Twin Rivers High School and Iowa Central Community College where he studied auto mechanics.  Brad had a passion for football and model cars.  He enjoyed busying his hands and creating amazing pieces.  After college, Brad worked for Delp Auto in Fort Dodge and later Smith Oil in Livermore.  His love of auto mechanics lived on through his work. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending services at Algona Free Church.

Three years ago, Brad experienced a life-changing stroke that impacted his ability to work.  He lived in Algona until he moved to the Good Samaritan Home in Forest City.  Brad continued to find joy in the everyday activities while living there.

Brad is survived by his son Dominic of Rolfe, his mother Chris Briggs of Fort Dodge, his sister Cassie (Shawn) Smith of Livermore.  He was preceded in death by his father William Briggs and his brother William Briggs Jr.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 2, 2026 and visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, both at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral & Cremation Service in Humboldt. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Livermore. www.masonlindhart.com
