Scott White Obituary
Scott A. White, 68, of Jesup, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The former Iowa resident had lived in Wayne County, Georgia the past several years and was recently retired from the Wayne County Board of Education as the athletic trainer. Coach White also known as Doc White was a favorite amongst the athletes, coaches, teachers, students and their families. His gentle spirit of tending to every bump, bruise, scratch, broken bone and tear could be seen on the sidelines or in the dug outs.
Scott is survived by his sister, Cathy Schipull of Humboldt, Iowa and her children and grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at his hometown of Humboldt along with burial by his parents, Donna Jean White and James S. White in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Hardy, Iowa. Services are currently pending.
