Bradley Gerard Hughes, born on December 16, 1976 in Jackson, TN, passed away on July 20, 2024. Known as a selfless man with the purest of hearts, Bradley was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother who made his home in Gadsden, Tennessee.
Bradley was a self-employed handyman, a profession that reflected his love for working with his hands. He also taught himself to play piano, bass guitar, and drums. This talent was an extension of his passion for music and his desire to share it with others. He was a man who never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. His generous spirit was evident in his willingness to help others, even those who had wronged him. Above all else, Bradley cherished his family and friends, always placing their needs above his own.
Bradley is survived by his devoted wife, Terry Hughes; his loving children, Wyatt Hughes, Hannah McGee, and Katie Gray; his parents, Glenn (Karen) Hughes and Carla Crutchfield; siblings, Shawn (Amy) Hughes, Jimmy (April) Shebesh, Marsha (Robert) Hughes, Sara (Cody) Tomas-Henson, Bethany (Wylie) Hughes, Marcie (Ferris) Arnold, and Trina (Michael) Shebesh; He was also adored by many nieces, nephews, and a great-niece, all of whom will miss him dearly. Bradley was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carl Uselton and Sara Pruett, his paternal grandparents, Quitman "Buddy" Hughes and Gussie Hughes, and his step-father, Larry "LJ" Crutchfield.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Ronk Funeral Home officiated by Patricia Bushart Merrell. Burial will follow at Alamo City Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the same location.
In Bradley's memory, we invite you to share your stories, memories, and photos on his memorial page. Your contributions will serve as a comforting reminder of the love and joy Bradley brought into our lives.
