Bradley Lynn Lofland passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 69, at Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC.
Brad was born on January 25, 1956, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Charles and Janet Lofland. He graduated from Greeley High School in Greeley, Colorado in 1974.
Brad was in the US Navy from March 17, 1977, to February 27, 1983, where he served as a Medic at the Navy Hospital in Charleston, SC. He then worked as a Senior Paramedic for Berkeley County EMS, Charleston County EMS and later Roper Life Link. He retired from Roper Life Link in May 2022.
His hobbies included woodworking, traveling to both new and familiar places, appreciating a wide variety of music and movies, and simply enjoying a good book.
He is survived by son Brian A. Lofland of Houston, Texas, daughter Sarah E. Lofland of Barboursville, W. Va, their sister, Rebecca Harmon of Tempe, Arizona, and their mother, Libby Harmon of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by one granddaughter, Abigail Johnisee of Charleston, SC, and two sisters, Cheryl Proffitt of Haven, Kansas and her family, Belinda Taylor and her husband, Allan, of Topeka, Kansas, and their family.
A private viewing will be held in Charleston for family members. A memorial service will take place at a later date at Haven Baptist Church , followed by a burial at Laurel Cemetery, in Haven, Kansas.
The nightly ceremony in Washington, D.C. will be dedicated in honor of your loved one on the day of your choosing.
