Lynn Barber, born April 4, 1962, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

A native of the Charleston area, Lynn attended Angel Oak Elementary and Middleton High School. She later became a longtime employee of Perkins, where she was known for her warm smile and kindness toward her many loyal regular customers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Jackie Snelson, and her brother, James Edward Snelson.

She is survived by her devoted children: Michael Christopher Ross, David Harold Barber, James Tee Barber and wife Cassie, Randy Tee Barber, Andy Tee Barber, and Jessica Ritter. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her grandchildren: Chance, Jada, and Chris (children of Michael); Leiyah, Tiana, Kyran, and Amayah (children of David); and James "LJ" and Colton (children of James).

Lynn is also survived by her sisters, Helen Spell (Harold) and Cindy; her best friend, Mari Gaul; and her favorite cousins, Kim and Angie.

Lynn will be remembered for her generosity, her devotion to her family, and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, resilience, and unshakable love for those she held close.

Her family and friends will deeply miss her presence, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
