Bradley Meche, 80, of Port Neches, Texas passed away November 9, 2009 at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Arnaudville, Louisiana on August 31, 1929 to the late Remi and Eleanor Oliver Meche. He was an operator for Gulf Oil.He was the loving father of Keith Meche and wife, Kathy of Nederland, Gregory Meche of Port Neches, Brenda Toutcheque and husband Roy of Vinton, Louisiana, Kathy Meche of Bridge City, Mona Darbonne of Denver and fianceacute, Brent Brown, Dee Anna Demarest and husband, Michael of Longville, Louisiana, Kim Chwascinski and husband, Scott of Salem, Illinois, and Melissa Engel and husband, Creig of Salem, Illinois brother of John Meche of Lafayette, Louisiana, Larry Meche of Opelousas, Louisiana, Eula Mae Artique of Niceville, Florida, Gladys Kahl of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Beverly LaGrange of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Ethelean Sibley of Jackson, Mississippi cherished grandfather of 23 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren, and 2 greatgreatgrandchildren and uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marvin Meche. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland on Tuesday, November 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m.A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur on Wednesday, November 11th at 2:00 p.m., Father Stephen McCrate, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home, April Stewart, Funeral Director. Serving as pallbearers are Roy Toutcheque, Scott Chwascinski, Creig Engel, Michael Demarest, Gregory Meche, Jimmy Orr, and Brent Brown. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Daniel Darbonne, Brad Bordelon, David Clark, Brendan Chwascinski, Aaron Meche, Brian Meche, and George Tuttle.
