Brad Nevil was taken by flights of Angels, to be with his Lord and Savior on June 1st, 2023 along with his wife Sheri as a result of an car accident.
Bradley Allen Nevil was born on February 1st 1957 in Dallas, Texas to E. O. and Billy Allen Nevil. He attended high school at Dallas Christian Academy and upon graduation he attended Texas A&M Commerce where he received a business degree. While in college he met Sheri Kaye Wright, and the couple were married on September 4th 1982 in Harleton, Texas. After graduation, Brad went to work for Acme Brick before ultimately going to work for his brother Mike Nevil, at Nevil Masonry Supply, which he would later own and operate. A lover of the outdoors and a big game hunter, Brad thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors whether it was in his native Texas working on the family compound or at their cabin in Colorado. Brad was a man of great faith and was a member of First Baptist Van Alstyne where he served as a deacon. Mission work was something close to his heart and he was an active member of Mission Maasai, a charity helping to build churches and water wells in Africa.
Brad is survived by his loving family which includes his two daughters Lauren Nevil and Brittany Cox as well as Brittany's husband, Brandon Cox and her three grandchildren, Riley, Sean, and Declan, all of Melissa Texas.
The family will receive for a time of visitation of Friday, June 9, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Garden Court of Welch Funeral Home. A Life Celebration® funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 10th, 2023 in the sanctuary of Harleton Baptist Church.

Genzel Plumbing Company

June 7, 2023

The Nevils have been long-time customers of Genzel Plumbing Company. I can hear Sheri's sweet voice; she was always so positive and encouraging. Brad was also so kind to all our employees who serviced their home. We just spoke with them last week and serviced their home. We have a text message in our inbox from May 30th. They will be deeply missed by all of us here at Genzel Plumbing. Our condolences go out to this family, and we will keep all of you in our prayers.
