Bradley S. Ryan

Bradley S. Ryan of Billerica passed away on June 30, 2025. His wife Beth was by his side. He was at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading. Brad was diagnosed in 2020 with stage 4 cancer.
Born June 8, 1954, Brad was the son of the late W. Bradley Ryan and Kathryn (Desmond) Ryan and brother of the late Thomas G. Ryan Sr.
As a youngster Brad took piano lessons and learned how to play guitar. He was an entertainer, singing and playing various instruments his entire life.
A graduate of Arlington High School, Brad took several college courses at Northeastern University. He was a member of many bands and had his own "Front Page" band. Brad also worked for Verizon for 27 years. After retiring from the telephone company he created his solo performance for seniors at assisted living and nursing facilities; "Sing Along with Brad". Many of his performances and collections of his song renditions can be found on YouTube.
Brad loved his dogs and always rescued the older dogs that were less likely to be adopted.
Brad is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ryan with whom he celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary June 24; his sister Kathryn A. (Ryan) Howard of West Roxbury. Also Elizabeth's children Renee and Robert Casaubon and her grandchildren. Many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. His lifelong friends, Bruce Frederick and Norman Pierce as well as his beloved dog Sadie.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica from 4 – 7 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Last Rest Cemetery, 7 Hillside Terrace, Merrimack, NH 03054 at 11 a.m. KINDLY MEET AT THE CEMETERY. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an Animal Shelter of One's Choice
