Bradley Clinton Schwarm was born February 22, 2001, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham. Bradley was raised by his parents Clint and Tiffany Schwarm, attending Brownstown Elementary and High Schools. He was an active child and played baseball up until his junior year, when he decided to work with his Grandpa Junior mowing yards. "B-Rad" or "Brad Dad" as he was known by his friends, could be the life of the party or could be the most responsible of his friend group; he loved to hunt, fish, and was a self-taught guitarist.
After graduating high school in 2019, Bradley enlisted in the US Army, he completed his basic training at Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning) in Columbus, Georgia. He was then stationed at Fort Carson in Colorado before receiving his assignment to the 2nd Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany. SGT Schwarm was a cavalry scout; a member of the United States Army's Combat Arms branch who serves as a reconnaissance specialist, gathering information and reporting it to commanders during battle as well as a gunner on a Stryker; a soldier who provides security from the turret of the vehicle.
Serving in the US Army allowed Bradley the opportunity to travel and experience parts of the world that he may not have had the chance to see otherwise. He and girlfriend, Amelia, made many memories and new friends while he was stationed overseas. Together they explored parts of Austria, Switzerland and Germany. Bradley lived and experienced a full life in his brief 23 years.
Bradley will be forever missed by his parents, Clint and Tiffany Schwarm of Farina and Jennifer Lilly of St. Elmo; girlfriend, Amelia Dewey of Canyon City, CO; siblings, Braden Schwarm, Madison Brabson, Gavin Muma, Landon Lilly, Gracie Askins, Benjamin Askins, and Gabriel Lilly-Georges; nephew, Henry and nieces, Charlotte and Loretta; grandparents, Bobby and Brenda Schwarm of Farina, Michael and Christine Denton of Pana, Greg and Elaine Lilly of Mode, and Susie Flowers of St. Elmo; great-grandparents, Faye Schwarm of Farina, Junior and Betty Williams of Brownstown, Paul and Dee Fisher of Brownstown, and Alice Lilly of Pana; several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sherry (Williams) Schwarm; great grandparents, Bob Schwarm, Donald and Velma Denton, Homer and Nellie Litz, JR Lilly; and one uncle, Curtis Schwarm.
