Brad was born in Green City, Mo to Luther and Annalu (Gardner) Sears. Brad worked at General Motors from the time he was 18 years old until he retired. He was married when he was 21 to Melinda Jo Maucelli and they had one son, Dustin Maucelli Sears.
He became “Granddaddy long legs” to his granddaughter, Chesnee Marie Sears, whom he adored.
Brad is preceded in death by his father, Luther Sears and his younger brother Curtis Sears.
His mother, Annalu Sears and 3 brothers currently live in the Kansas City area. Larry (Ericka) Sears-Kansas City, Doug (Diane) Sears- Parkville, Chris Sears- Kansas City, and a niece, Stacey Summers and family Platte City. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.
