Bradley J. Whitney died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 17, 2025, following a brief illness and hospitalization. He was born in Nashua, NH on February 15,1961 and attended local schools. "Bud" was a talented athlete, and had played basketball, baseball and football on school teams. He was on the Nashua High School varsity basketball team when they won the state championship in 1978. After graduating from high school, he had attended the University of New Hampshire briefly. In recent years, he was a long-term and well-liked employee of Hannaford Supermarkets.

Bud, also known to many as Brad, was a member of the First Church, UCC of Nashua. He greatly enjoyed participating in charity golf tournaments; particularly the ones for The Front Door Agency, the YMCA, and the First Church, UCC. He was a fan of the Boston Celtics, the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. His other interests were riding his motorcycle, golf, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. Bud was a helpful and thoughtful person who would often call just to ask how you were doing. He was once given a Community Service Award for his generosity in helping others with transportation. He was always cheerful and ready to greet you with a warm smile. Bud will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia L. Whitney of Nashua and his siblings and their spouses, Todd A. Whitney and Cynthia W. Whitney of Nashua, Jennifer W. Oswald and Kurt Oswald of Auburn, ME, and Pamela L. Whitney of Takoma Park, MD. He is also survived by many relatives including his aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at The First Church, UCC in Nashua, N.H. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at 10:00 AM. Interment will be held privately at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Nashua, N.H.
