Francis Lloyd Andrews, 92, of Hudson, NH, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, with his beloved wife, Bertha, by his side.

He was born in Rio Grande, New Jersey, on November 9, 1932, the son of the late Reverend George W. Andrews and Almetta (Hutchins) Andrews.

Francis was the devoted husband of Bertha (Yager) Andrews, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. They were married on March 24, 1962, in Canastota, NY, and together built a life filled with faith, love, and adventure.

Francis was drafted into the United States Army, and after his honorable discharge, he attended Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA, where he met Bertha and earned his associate degree. He later worked for many years at Gillette's Toiletries Division, retiring at the age of 62. After retirement, he continued to dedicate his time as the maintenance man and groundskeeper at the Community Chapel Church of the Nazarene in Nashua, where he was also a longtime member.

Known for his love of travel, Francis and Bertha explored more than 60 countries together, creating countless memories around the world. He was also a skilled handyman who enjoyed carpentry, painting houses, and fixing just about anything. With his well-stocked collection of tools, Francis loved working with his hands and took pride in helping others through his craftsmanship.

He was predeceased by his seven brothers, John Andrews, Kenneth Andrews, Paul Andrews, David Andrews, George Andrews, Seth Andrews, and Joseph Andrews; his two sisters, Grace Dollinger and Lois Wanner; and his brother-in-law, Louis Yager.

Survivors include his loving wife, Bertha (Yager) Andrews; their children, Donna Andrews, Karen Mathews and her husband Eric, and Stephen Andrews; and seven cherished grandchildren, Zachary Andrews, Nicholas Andrews, Joshua Andrews, Madison Healey, Bridget Healey, Jillian Mathews, and Autumn Mathews. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Couchenour, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
