Braiden Mattinson

Braiden Wade Mattinson, age of 33 passed away on December 6, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1992, in Provo Utah.

Braiden had a big heart and was full of kindness and love to all in his path. He was a talented heavy equipment operator in the construction excavation industry. Braiden loved his work and found happiness in his success in the industry. He had a deep love for animals and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Braiden loved his family. Braiden's children were the true happiness in his life, and he loved them with all his heart.

Braiden's struggle with addiction and alcoholism found him in many rehabs and often fighting for his life. This journey was not easy on anyone that loved him. His family we will be forever heartbroken and missing him. He will forever be the guardian angel to his three beautiful children and family he loved so much.

Braiden is survived by his mother, Jennifer (Chad) Fraughton; his father, Shad Lee Mattinson; grandparents Mike (Sondi) Dunn, Kathy (Phil) Anderson, and Larry and Kathy Mattinson; sisters Courtney Robert and Alyson (Zach) Haws; brothers Cooper (Makenzie) Fraughton, Cody (Maycon) Fraughton; and his beloved children Madden Wade Mattinson, Everly Joy Mattinson, and Aiden Chad Mattinson.

Services will be held for family and Braiden's closest friends at Olpin Mortuary on Sunday, December 21, 2025. Braiden will be laid to rest at Eastlawn Memorial Hills Cemetery in Provo, Utah.
