Brandie Kaye Lee, age 44, of Shelbina, MO, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Salt River Community Care Center in Shelbina, MO.
Brandie was born on February 13, 1980, in Atlantic, IA, the daughter of David Nelson Lee and Rita Darlene (Kaiser) Lee.
She is survived by her siblings, Liberty (Richard) Tillerson, Jaremy (Martha) Lee, Heather (DJ) Reitz, Cody Lee (Jessie Kerzman), Justin (Tiffany) Lee, Bertrana (Scot) Olson, and Jarrett Lee; boyfriend, Daniel Livers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Brandie is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Clarice Lillian Sigears and Joyce Ann Lee; great-grandmother, Lillian B. Anderson; niece, Teagan Skye Lee; and nephew, Caysen Oliver Lee.
Brandie loved competing in the Special Olympics while in school in Iowa. She won four medals; one gold, two silver, and one bronze in the relay and one bronze medal in broad jumping. Dolls were her favorite thing to collect and movies were a close second. As an adult she graduated high school and began working at Monroe City Sheltered Workshop, where she met the love of her life, Daniel Livers.
Though she had a short life, she enjoyed every minute of it. She won the hearts of many aides, nurses, and all of her family and friends.
