Brandon Akers, 54, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, in Kokomo, Indiana.
Brandon was born on August 13, 1970, in Hammond, Indiana to Randall L. Akers and Paula (Taylor) Churchill. He was a brick mason for Ziolkowski Construction. Brandon was also a graduate from Portage High School in Portage, Indiana.
He is survived by three daughters, Taylor R. (Andrew) Boonstra of Royal Center, IN; Rebel Akers of Kokomo, IN; Brittney Akers of Portage, IN; two sons, Braxton Akers of Lafayette, IN; Brandon K. Akers of Kokomo, IN; mother, Paula (Richard) Churchill, Palmetto, FL; four brothers, Medwick (Terri) Akers of Portage, IN, Cecil (Heather) Akers of Delphi, IN; Travis (Kaelin) Clark of Monticello, IN; Ryan Churchill of Lake Station, IN; two sisters, Brandy (Glenn) Stewart of Burnettsville, IN; Tara (Denny) Blosser of Gardner, KS; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and companion, Amanda Peterson of Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his father, Randall L. Akers
A visitation will be held at Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport, IN on Thursday October 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to the time of the service.
A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 pm in the Gundrum Funeral Home Thursday with Pastor Adam Speicher officiating.
