Brandon Michael Friday, 36, of Yukon, Oklahoma, was born on September 23, 1989 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Michael Ray and Terri Lynn (Richardson) Friday. He passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 in Oklahoma City.

Brandon graduated from Coyle Public Schools in 2008. He went to Central State for two years. He quit school to work in the family business which was pump trucks which then turned into the electrical business where he became a lineman for many years.

He met and married the love of his life, Mary Jo Langley on July 7, 2017.

Brandon loved football, Nascar, riding four wheelers, going to the race track where he enjoyed watching and racing trucks. He also loved hunting, fishing, and going to the lake with family.

Brandon was most proud of his family.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Cody Short; grandparents, Jerry and Beverly Richardson and Lyle and Violet Friday.

Brandon leaves behind his wife, Mary Jo of eight years; sons, Carson Plank, Blake Michael, and Asher Hayes, all of the home; his parents, Michael and Terri Friday of Guthrie, Oklahoma; brother, Caleb Friday of Guthrie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Patti Langley of Hinton, Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Brian Langley of Blair, Oklahoma; nephews, Memphis, Myles, and Maverick of Guthrie, Jaxson Short of Mustang, Oklahoma; and many aunts, uncles, cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 30, 2025 at SouthPointe Baptist Church located at 4820 South Division Street in Guthrie with Pastor Robby Robbins officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, 220 North 1st Street, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.

Closed casket visitation will be held Wednesday, 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. at Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
