With heavy hearts, our dear friend, Brandon Kirk Goggans, aka The Donger, Dunn, Dahnggershringing, and our habitual line stepper, left us far too soon on April 1, 2025, at the age of 50. He was born March 7, 1975 in Dallas, TX.
Brandon was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Wendell, and his brother Keith. He leaves behind his devoted partner, Kristin, who adored him more than words can express; his aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces; and a tight-knit group of friends who were also like family. These friends will hold on to the memories of his boundless loyalty, his mischievous grin, and his unmatched love for a good time.
As a young man, you could find Brandon doing what he loved most: camping, fishing, boating, or speeding through campgrounds on a moped blasting Belinda Carlisle tunes (Hey, we all have our guilty pleasures, right?). He was a connoisseur of SpaghettiOs, but his true culinary triumph came with Ms. Annello's Italian gravy, a recipe he perfected over the years.
Brandon was also known for his passion for the outdoors. He could often be found heading to Joe Pool Lake with friends with his boat in tow, or sneaking out of his second-story window on Meadow Creek to join in on a Saturday night escapade with friends. He was always up for an adventure.
His professional career in the electrical industry spanned multiple decades with notable stints at Rexel, Parish Air, and Southwire. Along the way, he built lasting friendships with colleagues who quickly became friends he truly admired.
Brandon's relationship with Kristin was nothing short of special. Their boat rides in the Baja, Friday night dates, spontaneous trips, and sarcastic banter about the latest trends will always be remembered with a smile. She will always remember his pretty face.
Brandon was the quintessential big-hearted Texan. He loved fast cars, fast boats, a good drink, and his firearms, but what truly brought him joy was the simple pleasure of sharing a perfectly grilled steak with friends and family. To him, the best moments in life were those spent surrounded by those he loved.
No one could deliver a well-timed one-liner or witty comeback like Brandon. Whether it was cracking a joke or gathering people for a last-minute toast, he always knew how to bring joy to a room. His sense of humor, his loyalty, and his spirit will remain with us forever.
A visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel in Lancaster.
A celebration of his life will take place at a later date, where friends and family will gather to share stories, laugh, and honor the amazing person he was. In true Brandon fashion, we're sure there will be a toast (or several) in his honor.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Brandon's name to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. https://www2.breakthrought1d.org/site/Donation2?2374.donation=form1&df_id=2374&mfc_pref=T

I was deeply saddened to hear of Brandon´s passing. While I may didn´t have the opportunity to know him closely, I recognize the meaningful impact he had on those around him as a valued member of the Southwire sales team. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.

The Sales Pit Crew from Rexel Spring Valley will never be the same. Donger you will truly be missed. We lost a great guy in this one. Way too early.
