Brandon Gunnin Obituary
Brandon Shawn Gunnin, 35, died on Monday, September 9, 2024.
Born in Athens, GA, he was the son of David Lanier Gunnin and Melissa Brooks Garrett and step son to David Garrett. Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Odis Gunnin and maternal great grandmother, Willie Mae “Gran Gran” Smith.
Brandon was a loving soul that enjoyed making everyone laugh, playing the guitar, teaching his favorite nephew the proper way to pull off pranks and how to be a mischievous kid.
Survivors in addition to his parents and step father include one sister; Samantha (Dustin) Bradshaw; nephew: Landon Bradshaw; paternal grandmother: Rebecca Gunnin and maternal grandmother: Geneva “Nana Pool” Tompkins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 3PM at Lord and Stephens Danielsville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1PM until 3PM prior to the service.
