Brandon M Jones

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Brandon M Jones, affectionately known as B, of Columbus, Ohio. Born on July 24, 1982, in Columbus, he left us too soon on June 27, 2025.
Brandon was a beacon of light to all who knew him, his kindness and strength were apparent to all. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded." By this measure, Brandon M was indeed successful. His friends, family, and all who had the pleasure of meeting him felt his compassionate spirit and were made better for it.
Brandon was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Frances Jones, and his dear aunt and uncle, Mercedes R Jones and Walter A Jones. As the poet P.B. Shelley wrote, "Death is the veil which those who live call life; They sleep, and it is lifted."
Brandon is survived by his loving mother, Wanda Jones; his step-father, Glenn Alston; his siblings, Alexandra (Nikki)Jones and Eric Jones; his cherished children, Jania Townsend and Jayden Jones; his caring aunt, Leslie Washington; his uncle, Lavelle Jones; and his many cousins, including Illya Clark, Paul Jones, Danielle Cunningham, Ricky Jones, Rebecca Jones, David Washington, Maria Jones, and Michael Washington. He will also be forever remembered by his adoring nieces and nephews, Kavon Jones, Rivon Newland, Rishayla Newland, Aden Gilbert, Eric Jr, Ejayah Jones, Jashawntee Jones, and Kaliyah Nguyen.

Visitation for Brandon M will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 10:00amEDT at Evergreen Funeral Cremation and Reception, located at 1855 East 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, 43219. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 11:00amEDT, with a reception to commence at 12:30pmEDT.
