Brandon Scott Sledge passed away on May 3, 2025 at the age of 33. He was born in Plano, TX on December 4, 1991 to David and Janet Sledge. Moving to Longview at the age of 3 he attended Pine Tree schools graduating from Pine Tree High School in 2010. He attended Centenary College in Shreveport, LA and Kilgore College in Kilgore, TX.
Sports of any kind was Brandon's passion. He had his favorite player in each sport and from a very young age could pick out a winner. If you knew Brandon, you knew he was an Oklahoma Sooner through and through. He and his Dad spent many weekends traveling to Norman for OU Football, attending camps or signing day, just anything Sooner related. He, like his Dad, loved the game of golf playing in high school and college and then in many tournaments for charity or just for the love of the game. He had the opportunity to play at Pebble Beach and Torrey Pines and even enjoyed a trip to the Masters one year. He also had the opportunity to go to a Celtic Football (soccer) game in Glasgow Scotland with his brother-in-law Charlie. He quickly became a Celtic fan especially with their color of green being his favorite color!
Brandon was a kind and giving soul always wanting to help other people. He had a gift of listening and telling you, "it'll be alright." He loved his family and friends greatly and will be dearly missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his Dad, David, his beloved Nana, Shirley Lee and his Grandmother Hazel and Granddaddy Glenn.
Those of us left to cherish his sweet memory are his Mother, Janet, sister, Renae Lowe and her husband Charlie Lowe, his two nieces Ruby and Evie Lowe. Aunts, uncles and cousins survive him as well and will miss him dearly. His big ol' Yeller will miss him greatly but will be here to keep Mama company.
