Brant Alan Dunn, age 53, of Waverly, Kentucky, passed away January 7th, 2026 leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion, and family pride.
Brant was a dedicated husband, loving father, cherished PePaw, and a caring uncle. Known for his strong work ethic and generous heart, he spent his life providing for and protecting those he loved. His presence was steady, his love unwavering, and his impact on his family immeasurable.
He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Ray "Bud" Dunn; his mothers, Martha Dean Dunn and Sarah Ellen Beach Dunn; his brothers, Donald Ray Dunn and Brent Lee Dunn; his sister, Marsha Louise Pike; his niece, Destany Pike; and his nephew, Don Pike.
Brant is survived by his devoted wife, Meredith Leigh Dunn; his son, Jacob Alan Dunn (Katelynn); and his daughter, Kelsey Renee Gidcumb (Jacob). He was a proud PePaw to his two beloved grandsons, Judah and Kaison Gidcumb, who brought him immense joy.
He is also survived by his sister, Donna Kay Cummings (Samuel); his brother, John Henry Dunn (Linda); and a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his guidance, humor, and love.
Brant's memory will live on through the lives he touched, the family he treasured, and the example he set through his strength, kindness, and dedication. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Funeral will be at 1 PM Monday January 12th, 2026 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Brother Derek Daniel will officiate.
Visitation will be from 9 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.
Contributions may be made to the ALS Association, 1300 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 600
