Brayden Scott Machold

Brayden Scott Machold, of Wake Forest, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2025 (his 21st Birthday). Brayden was born on July 18, 2004, in Connecticut to Scott and Jaime Dubois Machold.

Brayden graduated from Heritage High School in 2022. He worked as a Salesman at Capital Powersports in Wake Forest where he enjoyed meeting people that shared his passion for motorcycles and cars. Brayden was a car enthusiast who enjoyed participating in local car meets, such as Cars and Coffee (Morrisville) and the annual Slammedenuff Gatlinburg (TN).

Brayden touched many people's lives, both in person and online. His presence was always known while he enjoyed using his silly gestures and humor to make others laugh. He was a dear friend to many, often adding support when others were going through a difficult time in their lives. He could be serious and professional, as well as extremely outgoing.

Brayden was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Edwin Dubois. Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Scott and Jaime Machold; his sister, Brielle Machold, his maternal grandmother, Janice Dubois; his paternal grandparents, Martin and Bette Machold; his uncle Jeffrey Dubois and his fiancé Janelle Davis; his aunt, Cynthia Tedford; and many cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11am, at Imago Dei Church, 9200 Strickland Road, Raleigh, NC 27615. The family will receive friends and family after the service at the church.

There will be a memorial ride in Brayden's honor from the car and bike community that will leave the church at 1:15pm. The ride will pass Capital Powersports and head to Heritage High School where vehicles will park and walk to Brayden's tree.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Brayden's memory to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
