Brenda F. Batson- Age 66, of Nashville passed away April 27, 2018.
Brenda was best described as a kind, outgoing, strong, giving and thoughtful woman. She had a smile that could light up a room. She was also known for helping anyone in need. She was a retiree of Ingram Industries after 20+ years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed, playing piano, sewing, crafting, painting, camping, shopping for shoes and pocket books and most of all spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a great woman who will never be forgotten.
Preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy May Underwood. Survived by her husband of 30 years, Harold Batson; daughter, Teri Sims (Michael); step-daughters, Lynn Tede (Randy), Kim Malik (Bob) & Keely Hagan (Kevin); grandchildren, Justin Noles, Ryan Sims, Brandon Sims & Nathan Smoot (Bonnie); 2 great grandchildren, Makaila & Eleanor; sisters, Mary Payne (Richard) & Betty Bowers (John); brothers, Joseph Marcum (Diane), Jimmy Marcum & Jackie Underwood; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
A Life Celebration will be 2:30pm, Tuesday, May 1st. Visitation will be 4:00pm-8:00pm, Monday and 12:30pm-2:30pm, Tuesday at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens, 9090 Hwy 100, Nashville, TN, 37221, 615-646-9292, harpethhills.com
