Brenda E. "Bonco" Bible age 77 of Greeneville passed away peacefully Monday October 6, 2025 surrounded by her family at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a member of Victory Church of God and retired after 44 yrs from Laughlin Hospital as the head nurse of the OB floor having delivered over 3,000 babies. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Faye and Lewis Shipley, special niece Melanie and Dr. Chris Malone, nephew Shawn and Tisha Holt, very special great nephews "The Boys" Camden and Cade Malone, great nieces Saundra Cox, Delaney Holt, Katie, Khloe, and Bella Holt, great nephew Collin Crews, great great nieces Lillie, Anna, and Macey Cox, 2 brothers-in-law David Bible and Daniel Bible, several other nieces, nephews, and cousins, and a very special friend Pam Southerland. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Bible, mother Frances Edmiston, father Jim Edmiston. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Thursday October 9, 2025 at Jeffers Funeral and Cremation Service Downtown. The funeral service will follow at 7pm Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jim Fillers officiating. The graveside service will be at 11am Friday in Oak Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10:15am Fri to go in procession to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent in her memory to Shriners Children's Hospital.
