Brenda Fay Cahill

Brenda Fay (Tilson) Cahill, 83, of Charlton and formerly of Douglas, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Charlton Manor Rest Home, with her loving family at her side. She rejoins her beloved husband of 17 years, Michael E. Cahill, who passed in February of this year.

She leaves her devoted sons, James Wise and his wife Sara, of Charlton, and William Wise, Jr. and his wife Cherie, of Odessa, FL; her cherished grandchildren, Christina, Rebecca, Joshua, Lacie, Liam, Chance, Cole, Gabriel, Kristina, and Tessa; her great-grandchildren, Mason, Myles, Marlowe, and Bentley, all of whom she loved dearly; her loving sisters, Joyce Taylor and Linda Clark; along with many nieces and nephews. Brenda was predeceased by her first husband, William C. Wise, Sr.; and her siblings, Pat and Jay.

Brenda was born in Aiken County, South Carolina, one of five children born to the late James K. and Vivian E. (Powell) Tilson. She worked for Parker Manufacturing and the David Clark Company in Worcester for many years, in the manufacturing department.

In her free time, Brenda enjoyed playing bingo, working on her puzzle books, and honing her skills ordering from the QVC home shopping network. Above all, she loved spending time with her beloved family, whether it be camping, or just being at home together.

Her family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Charlton Manor for their loving care of Brenda during her stay.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Charlton Manor Rest Home Recreation Fund, 12 Town Farm Road, Charlton, MA 01507.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Brenda's family between 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at the BRITTON-WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 91 Central Street, Auburn, with a service to begin at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery in Worcester.
