Brenda L. Daugherty, 66 of Hanover, WV, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Cabell Huntington Hospital surrounded by family after a short illness.
Brenda was born March 18, 1958, a daughter of the late Jimmie and Ruby (Payne) England.
Brenda was a kind and beautiful soul, always willing to help anyone. She spent almost her entire life with her high school sweetheart, Billy who we all know spoiled her rotten. She loved traveling, antiquing, dolls, and anything Victorian. But most of all, she Loved Jesus and her family, especially her boys. She had an immense and enormous amount of faith. Brenda was a wonderful person loved by so many and will be missed endlessly.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon England Dotson; one brother, Burb England, and special nephew Ronnie England.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Billy Daugherty; sons, Travis (Cindy) Daugherty of Huntington, Brandon Daugherty of Fanrock; 3 grandsons whom she loved and cherished dearly, Tucker, Carter, and Braxton.
She is also survived by her siblings, Frieda Blankenship of Milton, Teddy (Donna) England of Hanover, Barbara Estep of Huff Creek, Christine Lester of Huff Creek, Tex (Pam) England of Hanover, Sherry (Jeff) Brown of Belfast, VA; sister-in-law Debbie England of Roderfield and many special nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at 1 o'clock PM at the Chapel of Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger, WV with Reverend James Cline officiating. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, from 12 noon until the time of service. Burial will follow in the England Family Cemetery at Hanover, WV. Family and special friends will serve as pallbearers.
