Brenda Dellinger Obituary

Brenda was born on June 21, 1943 in Rutherford County, NC a daughter of the late Adam P. McDaniel and Ollie Roberts McDaniel. She retired from textiles and was a homemaker. Brenda was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church in Cherryville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Pat Mitchell, Louise Smith and Wilma Forrest; three brothers, Roger, Franklin and Samuel McDaniel.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Michael J. Dellinger of the home; a son Greg Dellinger and wife Christy of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, Clayton Dellinger of Cherryville; Vanessa Dellinger of Nashville, TN; Lexie Richardson and Lillie Richardson both of Lincolnton; a great grandchild, Makavelli Dellinger; two sisters, Debbie Craig of Cherryville and Ruthell Huss of Monroe; two brothers, Larry McDaniel of Dallas and Wayne McDaniel of Boiling Springs; a sister-in-law, Jill Hudson of Cherryville. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:45PM to 2:45PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Gospel Way Baptist Church in Cherryville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Gospel Way Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Hefner officiating.
Burial will be private.
Memorials may be made to Gospel Way Baptist Church, 3904 Tryon Courthouse Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.

Sweet sweet lady with a comical personality! So glad she got to enjoy her new valances a few days.
Prayers for her husband whom waited on her like a baby as well as all the family I know she will be missed!
