Brenda Dugger, age 70, of Auburn, Il. died Wednesday (January 28, 2026) at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, Il.

She was born July 8, 1955, in Jacksonville, Il. daughter of Judith Woolfolk Dugger and the late Earl Dugger, Jr.

Surviving is her mother, Judy Dugger of Auburn, Il.; a brother, Michael Dugger of Auburn, Il.; her aunts, Melody Camerer of Scottville, Il. and Ramona Wood of Winchester, Il.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her aunts and uncles, Sonny Woolkfolk, Wilma Mansfield, Bud Woolfolk, Tommy Woolfolk, Ronnie Woolfolk, Michael Woolfolk, and David Woolfolk and Sharon Woolfolk.

Brenda attended Rhema Bible School in Oklahoma when the school first started and obtained a degree in Bible Studies and was ordained through the school and was a member of the Rhema Ministerial Association International. Brenda worked as a children's pastor at the Abundant Life Church in Auburn which is now New Life Family Church. She also worked as a children's pastor in Pennsylvania. In 1996 she went to Africa working with children in that country. Currently she was a volunteer with the children's ministry at New Life Family Church. In the past she also worked at Lakeshore Learning Center in Springfield, Il. She loved doing sudoku, but her greatest love was working with children.

Services will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Life Family Church and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.airsman-hires.com.
