Jerry Trader Obituary
He was born August 17, 1954 in Springfield, Il. son of the late LeRoy and Pearl Smith Trader.
He married Debra Witherbee Watret on June 21, 1996 in Gatlinburg, Tn. and she survives.
Also surviving are his children, Cristy Metz (Chris) of Mt. Sterling, Il., Melissa Pleshe of Pawnee, Il., Greg Watret of Waverly, Il. and Mike Watret of Springfield, Il.; eight grandchildren, Jared, Macie, Jordan, Haylee, Amanda, Devon, Sharayah, and Kyle; thirteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Charles Trader (Mary) of El Paso, Tx., Loren "Bus" Trader (Sheryl) of Franklin, Il., Loretta Birdsell of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Trader.
Jerry was a graduate of Franklin High School. He did construction for a few years before becoming an over the road truck driver for over forty years.
Private services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Waverly Rescue Squad and sent to Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, 349 E. Tanner, Waverly, Il. 62692. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.airsman-hires.com.
