Brenda Hobbs Obituary
Funeral service for Brenda Louise Hobbs, age 80, of Terrell, Texas will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 25th, 2023 at College Mound United Methodist Church with Pastor Dana Norton officiating. Visitation will be held from 6 pm-8 pm Thursday, August 24th, 2023 at Goggans Funeral Home. Brenda passed away on August 21st, 2023 in Forney, Texas.
Brenda was born on September 27th, 1942 in Greenville, Texas to James Edward Berry and Mildred Louise Tillman. She married the love of her life, Billy Hobbs on March 3rd, 1979 in Terrell, Texas. She worked as a payroll clerk for a large telecommunications company and enjoyed spending her free time with family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Keith Hill and wife Bobbie Willoughby; son, Jon Hobbs and wife Sandra; daughter, Jennifer Migleo; daughter, Judith Tanner; daughter, Janet Stigall; daughter, Jane Holthuizan; brother, Jimmy Berry and wife June; and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mildred Berry and her husband, Billy Hobbs.
Memorial requests can be made to College Mound Cemetery, Terrell, Texas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Goggans Funeral Home, Terrell, Texas.

Brenda was a beautiful human being who really stepped up to being a mother to all of us Hobbs children (some grown at the time and some just kids) and a wonderful mother to her son, Keith and a loving and wonderful wife for our father, Bill H. Hobbs. They belong together and are together now forever...We will all miss you, Brenda, and I wish you many blessings on your journey... Love to you, Jane and Marc

It is hard to believe she is gone because she has been such a rock to me and my children, Jessica and Haley. She was like a mother to them and she will be truly missed. I know she is with my dad now, Bill Hobbs, and they belonged together.

Our beautiful stepmother, Brenda Hobbs, was someone who fearlessly stepped up to the plate as a caring mother to myself, my sisters Janet, Judith and Jennifer, my brother Jon, and we also were blessed she brought along with her - her son, our brother, Keith. She was also was very loved by all the grandchildren and great grandchildren, all our wives and husbands, and was an unforgettable, funny, kind and caring person. My father Bill Hobbs loved her above all else, he was the love of her life, and cherished being with her and was lucky to have her in his life for 38 years. Love and blessings from all of us to Beautiful Brenda on her journey...Love from your daughter, Jane
