Brenda Sue Levings was born on December 4, 1951, in Urbana, Ohio. At the age of two, she was lovingly adopted by Harry C. and Blanche L. Hanby. She grew up in Raymond, Ohio, where at just 14 years old she met the love of her life, Jon Roger Levings. At sixteen, Brenda and Jon married and began a lifelong journey together. In the early 1970s, they moved from Marysville, Ohio to Vancouver, Washington, where they raised their three daughters. Brenda devoted her life to raising her children, caring for her husband, serving God, and creating a warm, welcoming home. She had a gift for creating beauty, bringing warmth and charm to everything she touched. Her home and flower gardens reflected her love, care, and creativity, and were admired by all who knew her. Later in life, she found great joy in spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness. Brenda loved collecting antiques, cherished visits to Lincoln City, and was an avid Elvis fan. A highlight of her life was celebrating her 50th wedding anniversary with Jon by traveling to Graceland, a trip she treasured deeply. Brenda and Jon shared 57 years of marriage filled with love and devotion. She is survived by her husband, Jon; daughters Tamara Lynn (son-in-law Theodore Pope), Nicole Lee (son-in-law Russell Groen), and Elizabeth Ann Levings (fiancé Dallas); grandchildren Ashli Jean, Brittani Lynn, Zachary Allen, Jonathan Peter, Andrew Hunter, and Hope Victoria; as well as eight great-grandchildren. Brenda will be remembered for her unwavering Christian faith, her devotion to her family, her gift for beauty, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and the generations yet to come, a lasting reflection of the light and love she shared throughout her life.
