Chris "Meme" Levings, 68, died July 27, 2025, at her home, in Hutchinson. She was born April 29, 1957, in Springer, NM, to Coleman Jones and Lillie (Fay) Bontke. Meme was a jack-of-all trades, working many different jobs in her lifetime. She loved the beach, travelling, camping, going to the casino and festivals. Meme enjoyed her flowers and plants. She cherished spending time with grandchildren, supporting them in sports and other activities. Meme enjoyed listening to old county music. On September 3, 2015, she married Richard "Mike" Levings, in Hugo, OK. They shared almost 10 years together prior to her death. Meme is survived by: her husband, Mike Levings of Hutchinson; children, Paul Harnish of Ensign, Joe Stout of Ford, Dalene Brill of Clermont, FL, Chrissy Aleman, Sarah Collins, both of Hutchinson; stepchildren, Shelley Sanders of Maypearl, TX, Dale Stout Jr. of Bucklin; 27 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Coleman Jones and Lillie Bontke; stepfather, Ernest Bontke; brother, Larry Jones; and sisters, Carol Smith and Sissy Jones. Celebration of Life will be 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Knights of Columbus, 1200 W. 15th Ave., Hutchinson. A luncheon will be provided. The family requests those in attendance to wear bright colors and tie-dye, in honor of Chris "Meme" Levings. Memorials are suggested to the Chris "Meme" Levings Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501. To benefit the Chris "Meme" Levings Memorial Fund, please make the check to Elliott Mortuary.
