Brenda Mann Obituary

Brenda Mae Mann, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 29, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born in Compton, California on June 3, 1947, to Monroe Bottoms and Kathryn Struck. Brenda was raised in northeastern Oklahoma but lived in San Antonio for the last 20 years.

Industrious and unbelievably hard working, she could take on any job -- from a roller-skating car hop, to a nurse, to a salvage mechanic, to a plasma burn table operator. However, what she loved most was working parties and events at Astro Bowl on Austin Highway. She was tenaciously independent and took pride in mowing her own yard right until the end.

Waiting for her in heaven are her son Micheal J. Walsh, her parents, her two brothers, Dale and Stanley and her two sisters Virginia and Judy. She leaves waiting here, her three sons, Rich Walsh and his wife Georg'a Walsh, William J. Walsh, and Wesley Walsh; five grandchildren, Ryan Walsh, Grayson Walsh, Brendan Walsh, Margaret "Emmie" Walsh and William S. Walsh; one great grandson Ian Walsh; and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home, 1265 North Main Street, Boerne, Texas, at 1:30 pm Monday, October 6, 2025. Service will follow at 2:30 pm and a reception thereafter.

Special thank you to the caregivers at the Lodge at Leon Springs for the love and care they showed.
