Brenda McClain Obituary
Brenda Joyce Hargo McClain, 75, of Marked Tree, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on October 21, 1947 in Marked Tree, Arkansas to James Thomas and Mildred Lorene Essary Hargo. Brenda was of the Baptist faith and the owner of McClain Trucking Company and McClain Sales and Service. She loved spending time with her family, crafting and playing bingo.
She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years: Bobby Joe McClain, her parents, one son: Bobby Joe McClain, Jr., three brothers: Tommy, Ricky and Jimmy Hargo, and two sisters: Sheila Hargo and Martha Owens.
Brenda is survived by one son: Brian McClain of Brookland, Arkansas, two daughters: Tammy Harmon of Marked Tree, Arkansas and Shannon Brewer of Marked Tree, Arkansas, three sisters: Carolyn Miles, Regina “Bones” Ivy, and Janice Goodson all of Marked Tree, Arkansas, six grandchildren: Justin, Chris, Lil Ricky, Caitlin, Conner and Gage, and three great grandchildren: Stella, Cayden and Maebry.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. and visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. at Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Interment will follow service in Marked Tree Cemetery, Marked Tree, Arkansas.
Brother Patrick Tucker will officiate the services.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Marked Tree, Arkansas.
