Brenda L. Mullet

Brenda L. Mullet, 77, of Sugarcreek, passed away at her home on Monday, July 14, 2025.
She was born on April 30, 1948 to the late Ralph "Dauf" and Ida (Winkleman) Miller and married Robert L. Mullet on July 16, 1965. He died on July 2, 2018.
Brenda was retired from Garaway Schools where she worked as a bus driver for many years. She had formerly worked at the former Swiss Hat Restaurant and Sugarcreek Window and Door in Sugarcreek. Brenda enjoyed a Life of Service; she volunteered at Alpine Museum, Ohio Star Theater, and the Senior Center in Sugarcreek. She also could be found providing transport for those in the Amish community. Brenda was very proud of hers Swiss Heritage and always looked forward to the Swiss Festival and driving the golf carts during festival each year.
She was a very active member of Mercy Hill Church in Berlin. She was a church greeter and usher, member of small groups, helped with bible school, operation shoebox and the women's ministry.
She is survived by her son Tim (Laurel) Mullet of Sugarcreek; her three grandchildren, Sydney (Gary) Byas, Lizzie Mullet, and Drew (fiance` Caitlin Maust); great granddaughter Blair Byas and sister-in-law Gay Miller and Jan Ochsenbine. She loved all her dogs from over the past years, but most recently she enjoyed the companionship of Molly and Bella.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded by her three brothers, Frank, Bruce and Robert Miller.
Services will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM (Noon) at Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek with Pastor Erik Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday from 10-12 at the funeral home prior to the services.
