Brenda Persky Obituary
Mrs. Brenda Kay Persky, age 76, of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Signature Health Care in Bowling Green.
The family has entrusted Cone Funeral Home with arrangements.
Brenda’s wishes were to be cremated.
Brenda was born February 19, 1948, in Gaston County, NC to the late Banjamin Fletcher Hyde and the late Mellie Leslie Cook Hyde. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Robert James Persky and a son Michael Ted Persky.
She is survived by her children Neal Arthur Persky (Jody) of Poolville TX, Livia Clayton (Ray) of Bowling Green, KY, and Brad Persky (Kirsten) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; grandchildren, Hannah Persky, Blake Persky, Trent Persky, Ella Persky, John Matteson and Logan Matteson; siblings, Dan Hyde (Donna) of NC, and Noreen Barbie of Arlington, TX.
Brenda was a member of Grace Community International Church. She helped serve her husband as a pastor’s wife their entire marriage. Brenda loved to paint, watching westerns and her little dog Paco.
