Smithfield, NC: Ms. Brenda Sue Pollard, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at her residence. Ms. Pollard was born on November 30, 1953 in Wake County, NC to the late Roy Rufus and Genevieve Creech Pollard. She was a retired bank teller with First Citizens Bank. While she lived at Atlantic Beach, NC, she managed the Holiday Trav-L Park and Campgrond in Emerald Isle, NC. She loved to write poetry, and read. Her greatest love was to be in a boat or on a pier, with a fishing rod in her hand. She will always be remembered for sending out cards to those she loved.
Survivors include her daughter, Genni Dupree of Willow Spring, NC.
Ms. Pollard’s wishes were for no service to be held; however the family appreciates your thoughts and prayers.
