Brenda Kay Roberson

Brenda Kay Roberson, loving daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on September 12, 2023, at the age of 56. Born in Niles, Michigan, on August 2, 1967, to Hobert and Patricia Roberson, Brenda brought joy and light into the world with her compassionate spirit and creative talents.
Brenda was a resilient woman, never married, but wholly devoted to her family and friends, the center of her world. She was a spirited individual, with a love for animals and nature that shone through in her art. A creative line artist, Brenda had a unique ability to capture the essence of the world around her, bringing her subjects to life with her detailed and imaginative renderings. Her art was a reflection of her spirit, full of life, passion, and a deep appreciation for the natural world. As Pablo Picasso once said, "Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life," and Brenda's art was a testament to her ability to find beauty and joy in the everyday.
Brenda is lovingly remembered by her mother, Patricia Metz; her siblings, Annette Lagadon (Ben), Dan Roberson (Melanie), and Jennifer Avery. She also leaves behind her paternal uncles and a host of cousins. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Hobert Roberson, and her grandparents, David and Bessie Clements.
Her family invites those who knew Brenda to share their memories and upload photos to her memorial page. They hope that in celebrating her life, they can keep her spirit alive in their hearts and minds, reminding them always of Brenda's resilience, her creativity, and her compassionate, spirited nature.
