With quiet sorrow and loving remembrance, we share the news of the peaceful passing of Donna Jean (Boyle) Weller on Friday, October 3, 2025 in Buchanan, MI at the age of 93.

Born on May 19, 1932 in Galien, MI, to the late Leslie and Helen (Knapp) Boyle, Donna moved through life with a gentle kindness and a calm, nurturing spirit that brightened the lives of everyone she met. As a caring mother, wife, and grandmother, Donna offered steady support, gentle encouragement, and a listening ear, always making others feel safe and cherished.

Donna will be deeply missed by her children, Stephen (Shelli) Antisdel and Jeffrey (Funda) Antisdel; grandchildren, Shane (Cate) Antisdel, Kalee (Bryon Edwards) Antisdel, Anika (Alex) Bachman, Eylul Antisdel, and Isabella Antisdel; great-grandchildren, Nehemiah, Elijah, Scarlett, Ezrie, and Meadow; best friend, Madeline Thierbach; sister-in-law, Deborah Boyle; daughters-in-law, Tina Green, Chandra Thomas, and Carol Weller; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; as well as the loving friends of the Buchanan Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Donna was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Rex" Weller; son, Edward Antisdel; grandsons, Jeffrey and Isaac Antisdel; sister, Virginia Bookout; and brothers, Leslie"Dutch", Jack, and Robert Boyle.

Donna's Christian faith was a central part of her life. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the Buchanan Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years. Her spiritual convictions guided her actions and provided comfort and strength to her family, shaping the loving environment in which she raised her children and nurtured her grandchildren. Donna was a regular volunteer sharing in a Bible education work since 1955. As her health and strength declined, she was house bound, but continued in her ministry by writing encouraging letters right up to the last few weeks before her death.

Over her lifetime, in addition to her role as wife and mother, her work included telephone operator, hotel manager, and later in life, she was a well-known realtor in southwest Michigan. After retiring, she lovingly cared for her parents, siblings, and others in their final years, and was in turn cared for by her own children, grandchildren, and dear friends, along with the support provided by Rachel, McKenzie, AJ and Scott from Caring Circle Hospice in her final weeks of life.

In keeping with Donna's wishes, cremation will take place. Family and friends are invited to gather for a memorial service to celebrate Donna's life on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1107 N. Redbud Trail, Buchanan, MI 49107. Paul Tackett will be officiating. For anyone unable to attend in person, a link to watch the service via Zoom will be provided below. Private burial will take place at a later date at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Buchanan. Palmer Funeral Homes-Hoven Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
