She was born July 13, 1965 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Albon Leroy Hunter and Hazel B. (Lent) Hunter. Brenda graduated from Meadowbrook High School.
She worked at Quanex as a machine operator.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Hunter.
Brenda is survived by her children, Samantha Miller of Byesville, Ricky (Sarah) Ryan of Senecaville, Robin (Dylan) Grey of Cambridge, and Nicole Hockenberry of Cambridge; four sisters, Sandra Hunter of Byesville, Georgianna Armentrout of Byesville, Bonnie Hunter of Cleveland, and Ragina Williams of Senecaville; two brothers, Rick Hunter of Cleveland and Robert Hunter of Delaware; her grandchildren, Harley Ryan Miller, Katey Miller, Charlie Miller, Cale Ryan, Raini Davis, Sebastian Davis, Kenli Ryan, and Jerico Davis; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday (October 16, 2025) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Black-Epperson Funeral Home, Byesville.
