Brenda Gail Freeman Wilemon, age 61, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 7, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice in Tupelo, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on March 7, 1964, to the late William Freeman and the late Tula Rea Underwood Freeman, Brenda was a woman of quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. For over 31 years, she faithfully served as an office secretary at TM Realtors, where her dedication and warmth left a lasting impression on coworkers and clients alike.
A member of Trinity Baptist Church, Brenda lived her life grounded in faith and kindness. She found joy in lifes simple pleasures especially vacationing at the beach, spending time with her family, and caring for her beloved dogs, Hershey and Gizmo. But perhaps her greatest joy was found in being Gigi to her cherished grandchildren, whom she adored beyond words.
Brendas legacy lives on through the love she gave and the lives she touched. She is survived by her loving husband of 10 years, Jeff Wilemon of Fulton; her children: Jeffrey Moore, Amanda Moore, Joshua Moore, Kirby (Haley) Powers, and Kasey (Brandon) Palmer of Oxford, MS; her step-sons: Caleb Wilemon and Garrett (Cielo) Wilemon; and her grandchildren: Kinley Powers, Charlee Powers, Jace Powers, Gabriel Wilemon, Aurora Wilemon, and Theodore Wilemon.
She is also survived by her siblings: Judy Bailey, David (Michelle) Freeman, Freddie (Margaret) Freeman, Ann (Donnie) Chatelain, Teressa (Phillip) Menard, and Pam Grant; and by her stepmother, Carolyn Freeman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Tula Rea Freeman.
Brendas life will be honored with a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Senter Funeral Directors. Dr. Don Baggett and Bro. Mark Robbins will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Senter Funeral Directors.
