Brennon George Hardy

Mr. Brennon George Hardy, age 81, of Lindale, GA, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025, at a local hospital.
Mr. Hardy was born in Floyd County Hospital on March 11, 1944, son of the late George L. Hardy and the late Zula Mae Scoggins Hardy. He was a graduate of Pepperell High School. Brennon retired from Georgia Power where he spent time working at both Plant Hammond and Plant Bowen. After his retirement, he spent many years working for Henderson & Sons Funeral Home where his meticulous attention to detail and his hard work ethic made him the go to employee when it came time to train new employees.
Brennon was a people person through and through and never met a stranger. He loved talking with people from all walks of life and could get along with just about anyone. He was a spit fire and was never known to mince his words, but he loved fiercely. He loved his family and friends with passion and would do anything for them. When his health allowed, Brennon absolutely loved doing yard work and being outside. He enjoyed his happy place, camping on the lake, and loved riding his golf cart all around. He liked going out to eat and adored his dogs. Brennon was of the Christian faith and is now rejoicing, fully healed, in the presence of Jesus for eternity.
Survivors include his wife, Christine "Chris" Hardy, to whom he was married for almost 40 years; 2 children, Kristy Henson (James) and Frank Shirley (Melanie); 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; his sister, Faye Couey; brother, Larry Joe Hardy (Kaye); numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday November 7, 2025, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Brooks and the Rev. Jamie Hutcheson officiating, Mr. Barry Henderson will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park
The family will receive friends on Friday from 12pm until service time at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel.
Pallbearers are to assemble by 1:30pm on Friday at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, and include: Bobby Youngblood, Preston Alphin, Joe Marler, Harrison Booker, Nathan Thompson, and Taylor White.
