Brent William Greenwell, 37, born in Charlotte, NC on January 7, 1987, sadly passed away on March 15, 2024. Brent was a dedicated trainer at FedEx who poured his heart and soul into his work. Those who knew Brent will remember him for his big heart, selflessness, and his willingness to help anyone in need. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that touched the lives of many.

Brent attended high school at Hopewell High in Huntersville, NC. In his free time, Brent found joy in spending summers at Badin Lake surrounded by the calming waters he loved so dearly. Fishing with his beloved grandparents brought him immense happiness, as did being a part of various swim clubs in Mecklenburg County. Brent also had a passion for disc golf and cherished moments spent with friends at The Summit Beer Shop and Jack Beagles in Mt. Holly. His love for animals reflected his caring nature.

Brent is survived by his mother, Carol Darlene Greenwell; father, Eric Greenwell and wife Donna; uncles, Curtis Greenwell and wife Lisa, Loren Greenwell and wife Diane; close cousin, Brook Greenwell Cranford and her daughter Addie; as well as the cousins from the Greenwell and Parsons families.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Louis and Mary Parsons, and paternal grandparents, Lee and Ann Greenwell.

The memories of Brent's kindness, warmth, and infectious smile will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to have known him.

Services to celebrate Brent's life will be held at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120, on Saturday, March 23, 2024.
