Brent Keith Holden

Brent Keith Holden, born March 21, 1964, to Homer H. Holden Jr. and Grace (Kirk) Holden, in Enid, Oklahoma. He passed away July 25, 2024 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Brent grew up in Medford and Pond Creek before settling in Enid, where he spent much of his life. He made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as a preteen. He graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1983. In 2011 he married Tinna Collins.
Brent was known for his strong work ethic and dedication, having worked in the oil industry as both a truck driver and driller. His commitment extended beyond his professional life; he also served his country as a member of the United States Navy as a Seabee. Brent enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on cars.
Brent was preceded in death by his father, Homer H. Holden Jr., his mother, Grace Holden, his brother Steven Holden, and his step-brother Bart Phillips. He was also preceded by his grandparents Homer H. Holden Sr. and Gladys Holden, and Dale Kirk and Thelma Kirk.
He is survived by his sister Sherrie Johnson and her husband Beck; siblings Layne, Chey, and Chris; his nephews Matt Johnson and his wife Jana, Clayton Johnson and his wife Holly, and Justin Johnson and his wife Shel. niece, Jonelle Holden. great-nephews/nieces: Sterling, Jay, and Allie Johnson, Wyatt and Tanner Johnson, and Rachel and Tori Johnson. his stepmother, Cheryl Holden, and his uncle David Kirk and aunt Liz Hensley. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, family members and friends.
A graveside service to honor Brent's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Rosemound Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Medford.
