Brent R. Kroger

Kroger, Brent R. beloved husband for 29 years of Elaine (Schmidt) Kroger. Loving father of Nolan Kroger and the late Anna Mary Kroger. Dear son of Arlene (Hammerle) Kroger and the late Tom Kroger. Son-in-law of the late Fred and Evelyn (Faeth) Schmidt. Dear brother of Dean (Amy) Kroger, Curt (Erin) Kroger and Tricia (Blake) Shaffer. Brother-in-law of Carol (Steve) Sweeney, Fred (Pat) Schmidt, Jim (late Kathy) Schmidt, Cathy Schmidt, Janet (David) Lykins, Barb (Joe) Zeiser and Joanne Schmidt. Brent is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and the dog he never wanted, but deeply loved, Indy. Brent was a loyal Kroger employee for over 34 years, and worked as a produce manager at several Westside locations. As an avid Cincinnati sports fan, he cheered on his beloved FC Cincinnati every chance he could get, whether from home or in person. He also really enjoyed his time taking in Reds games, both in Spring training and the regular season. Brent's family would like to thank his caregivers at the Good Samaritan Cancer Center, as well as Hospice of Cincinnati. Brent passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 age 55 years. Family will receive friends on Thursday, May 30, from 9:30am to 11am at Loyola Hall at St. Ignatius Parish. Memorial Mass will follow at 11am at St. Ignatius Church, 5222 N. Bend Rd. (Monfort Heights). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Jeffrey G Hoeh Memorial Fund 5809 Gold Dust Dr. Cincinnati, Ohio 45247.
