Mr. Brent Alan Parker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brent Alan Parker, a man whose kindness, laughter, and generosity touched the lives of everyone who crossed his path. Brent was born on March 10, 1968. The child of Morris and Devee Parker, he peacefully left this world on March 12, 2025.
Brent was incredibly proud of the 7 years of sobriety he achieved, a testament to his strength, determination, and commitment to living his life to the fullest. His journey wasn't always easy, but he faced it with a heart full of hope and a willingness to help anyone in need. If you met Brent, you likely became his friend, because he never knew a stranger-just someone who hadn't heard his stories yet.
He had a deep love for his grandkids, who meant the world to him. Whether he was spinning tales, sharing laughs, or simply spending time with them, he was in his element.
Brent was an avid lover of cars, flea markets, and antiques. You could find him combing through flea markets with the kind of focus usually reserved for treasure hunters, always looking for the perfect find-and always with a story to match whatever he brought home. Those who knew him well will fondly remember his collection of quirky items and his never-ending enthusiasm for his latest discovery.
As a friend, Brent was generous, kind, and always ready to lend a hand. He had an infectious laugh and a way of making everyone feel like part of his world. His gift for storytelling was unmatched-whether he was recounting an adventure or simply chatting about his day, Brent could captivate anyone with his words.
Brent is survived by his children Sierra (Tyler), Kortnee, Austin (Skyler) and Dalton and his grandchildren Kane, Octavia, Oryn, Lincoln, Saylor, Renley, and Nevaeh.
Brent is now reunited with his beloved mother, Devee, who passed before him. We imagine the two of them are already swapping stories, sharing laughter, and causing the angels to wonder if they're ever going to get some peace and quiet.
A memorial service will be held on March 26th at 1:00pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North with burial to follow at Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri.
