It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Brian Bay, who left this world on April 27 at the age of 40. Brian was a devoted friend to all who were fortunate enough to know him, possessing a unique ability to bring joy, laughter, and spirited discussions to any gathering.
As a store leader at Kroger, Brian demonstrated his strong work ethic and leadership skills, but it was in his personal life where his true passions shone through. Whether he was strategizing for a fantasy draft or cheering on his favorite sports teams with his friends, Brian lived life to the fullest. His competitive spirit knew no bounds, as he chose to depart this world as the fantasy football champion, in perfect timing. He also found joy in podcasting and spreading laughter to those he held dear in his extensive circle of friends.
Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Judith Bay, his father, Rick Blevins, his grandfather, Robert Bay, and his cousin, Jessica Bay.
Surviving Brian are his half-brothers, Adam Bailey, Dominic Schmidt, and Joseph Leingang, as well as his dear grandmother, Yvonne Bay. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Most notably, Brian leaves behind a close-knit circle of loyal friends who stood by him like family.
In Brian, we have lost an authentic and genuine soul. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy of kindness and friendship will never be forgotten.
Brian's memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 9th, from 5 P.M. until time of memorial service at 7:30 P.M. at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home 3155 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45211.
